Musings 1
If anyone had told me two weeks ago that I would be writing a blog, I’d have thought they were crazy! I’m still not sure that it’s a good idea but my husband has encouraged me so I’m giving it a go. I just can’t help wondering who on earth would want to read what I have to say. I have to confess that I’ve only ever glanced briefly at about 3 blogs so I suppose I don’t know enough about them to be able to judge. However, I can see this might be a useful way of recording my activities & thoughts, for myself if for no-one else. And of course I shall be learning more computing skills at the same time – at least I hope so. I’ve now mastered the art of adding photos, so I feel pretty pleased with myself!
I have just found your blog and look forward to seeing how it develops (and hope to make it to one of your workshops one day). Best wishes Anna
Blogs are great, thanks for starting one… You have already helped by your short explanation of dye extracts… Next year we are off to the states and will be using them there. Have to try some first. The “teal” is intriguing… extract of duck perhaps??
Thanks again.

(smiling) I suspect you’ll have more people reading your blog than you might expect, particularly once folks know you’re here. For instance, a month later, your blog hit the NaturalDye list group on Yahoo–which means that you’ll certainly have plenty of folks checking in. ๐ Welcome to the blogosphere, and from what I can can see, you’re doing great! Now if those of us who are still fumbling our way through natural dyeing can figure things out as readily as you seem to have managed blogging, we’ll be doing great. ๐

just found your blog – and I am glad you are writing it – so please keep going! – I only recently followed your instructions for dyeing with nettles http://colouritgreen.wordpress.com/ and was very pleased that the results were exactly as you said in your book!
